NRP 8th Edition Advanced Provider
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to the care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. This course content delivers curricula for Advanced Providers who may participate in neonatal resuscitation beyond positive pressure ventilation.
The 8th Edition Provider Course offers 2 different course levels. NRP Advanced Provider, and NRP Essentials Provider

YOU MUST COMPLETE PART 1 ONLINE, BEFORE ATTENDING THE SKILLS SESSION!!
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO COMPLETE AND PASS ALL ONLINE SECTIONS OF THE WRITTEN TEST AND BRING THE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE TO CLASS WITH YOU.
The online Part 1 can be purchased at the time of registration. The online license activation code will be assigned upon the completion of your registration. The required textbook NRP 8th edition can be purchased or rented (and returned at the completion of the class) at the time of registration.
All participants will complete the exam online to assess the cognitive material presented in the NRP Textbook. You will be required to take the NRP Advanced exam.
This provider Course may be appropriate for healthcare professionals who attend births and are responsible for anticipated resuscitation of the newborn with known risk factors and for healthcare professionals who participate beyond PPV. NRP Advanced is suited for health care professionals who serve as members of the resuscitation team in the delivery room or in settings where complex neonatal resuscitation may be required.
NRP Advanced providers will be trained in basic and advanced steps of neonatal resuscitation.
Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
